Our client was stopped at a red light. The at-fault driver was in a pick-up truck and slammed into the rear of our client’s car and did not insurance on his vehicle.
Due to the severe and force of the impact, our client suffered brain injury, headache, neck pain, shoulder pain, and back pain.
Our client waited until when the pain became unbearable to get medical treatment. He was treated by a chiropractor, his medical doctor, and massage therapist for his headache, neck, shoulder, back pain. He also received counseling and speech therapy for a concussion.
His medical bills exceeded $12,000 and lost wages exceeded $13,000. Initial negotiations failed and we planned to file the claim into a UM binding arbitration, however the client’s UM extended a policy limit offer of $100,000 and full PIP waiver.
