Our client was headed north on State Route 527. As our client was making a left turn into the driveway of a Costco, the at-fault driver slammed into the driver’s side of our client’s car, causing her airbags to deploy.
Our client was diagnosed with loss of consciousness, concussion, closed head injury, headache, neck pain, shoulder pain, and low back pain. She initially went to the emergency next day after the collision, she then sought her primary care physician at The Everett Clinic. She was referred by her primary care physician for massage. When her condition worsened, she sought acupuncture. When her concussion worsened, she was referred out to a neurologist and sports injury clinic for a diagnosis and referred her out for an MRI.
In total, she received medical care in excess of $33,000.00. We secured a total settlement in mediation for $150,000.00 from her uninsured motorist company and PIP waiver.
